mark d Posted November 4, 2005 Posted November 4, 2005 I have an eleven month old male chinese crested powder puff. the breeder told me that they were not especially active pets. I find however that he is constantly on the go and can run around the garden for hours. i don't mind this, but i was wondering if this is normal fro the breed? Quote
ObedienceGrrl Posted November 4, 2005 Posted November 4, 2005 The breeder lied to you big time. These dogs are VERY active. They are constantly on the go and will chase anything and everything. If they see a leaf blowing in the grass three houses down, they will take off after it. I have an 8 year old hairy hairless and a 1 year old true hairless. The 1 year old is all over the place all the time. He doesn't 'walk' anywhere....it's always at a full dead on run. He's constantly in my German Shepherd's faces, biting them, hanging from them. He won't leave the cats alone, always play bowing to them or biting their feet (thank goodness that the cats like dogs). The 8 year old is calmer....but he's 8.....so I don't expect him to be running all over the place. But the two of them will play hard several times a day. Who did you get your little one from? What breeder?? Quote

ObedienceGrrl Posted November 4, 2005 Posted November 4, 2005 It's okay......just got a chuckle out of that! Quote
