huskys4life Posted November 9, 2003 Posted November 9, 2003 Has anyone else ever head of this breed? They come in three sizes.. toy, small and medium. I came across this breed while doing some research (I have a siberian husky myself) and have never heard of a toy size northern breed. This picture is NOT a puppy and taken from this site: http://www.helderberg-huskies.com/HH/alaskan_klee_kai/ Quote
atghylin Posted November 10, 2003 Posted November 10, 2003 I've never heard of them. They sure are cute though. :) I'd to have been able to read that site though. Black letters against a dark blue backround with chainlink fenicing... what were these ppl thinking? Quote
Sanvean Posted November 10, 2003 Posted November 10, 2003 I read an article about them years ago and remember thinking they were super cute. Hadn't heard about them lately, though. Quote
Guest Anonymous Posted November 16, 2003 Posted November 16, 2003 I have heard of them. I know a couple of breeders you could check out. Someone wanted a companion size Husky. I forget what they bred them with to size them down, maybe Italian Greyhounds? I can't remember, but they can have a lot of health problems just like other breeds that have been miniaturized. I want one too! :D Quote
kendalyn Posted November 16, 2003 Posted November 16, 2003 cute, but not far off from those "hybrid" breeds that people try to sell. I say stick with real breeds and rescues. Health problems are a big concern. Quote
ellieangel Posted November 17, 2003 Posted November 17, 2003 Ok I sent that link to Lannie and now she wants Kodi to have a 'mini me' Quote
